Input to Motor Neurons - Nervous System

 INPUT TO MOTOR NEURONS

The surface of a motor neuron accommodates about 10,000 synapses! At the same spinal segment, at least five inputs arrive.

In addition, there are excitatory and inhibitory inputs relayed via interneurons from other levels of the spinal cord and descending tracts from the brain. It is no wonder that we are able to ac-complish such an unbelievable array of maneuvers.
